On Tuesday April 16, 2013 the reigning NASCAR champion, Brad Keselowski, was honored at a ceremony held on the South Lawn of the White House. President Obama invited Keselowski to the White House to celebrate the American sport of NASCAR.
Keselowski's visit also continues a long history of US Presidents honoring notable athletes. Keselowski toured the White House and during his time with the President discussed his love of racing and his passion to help wounded veterans and their families through his Race To Recover foundation.
