The Cooper Standard's Performance Products Group combines the former businesses of StanPro in North America, Technical Rubber Products and Specialty Products Group in Europe, and Tecalemit in Australia to meet the significant global growth in sectors adjacent to the light vehicle market.
The Group is managed by an experienced and dedicated Cooper Standard leadership team to capitalize on growth opportunities in the commercial vehicle, agriculture, construction, power sports, marine and aftermarket industries.
Cooper Standard acquired portions of Metzeler Automotive Profile Systems (MAPS) in 2007 including eight facilities in Europe and JVs in India and China. MAPS is known as a world leader in the development and manufacture of bodywork sealing systems and window guide systems.
Tecalemit has been a name synonymous with lubrication equipment since the 1920's, and commenced manufacturing operations in Australia in the early 1940's. Since then Tecalemit in Australia has undergone changes of ownership, operating today as a division of Cooper Standard, one of the world's leading manufacturers of Automotive Fluid Systems.
